Unmissable Interior Designer collaborations revealed for Decorex 2023

Oct 01, 2023

Decorex returns to Olympia London this October and will showcase inspirational concepts from some of the UK’s top interior design talent. Continuing to push the boundaries of luxury design, this year’s show will be like no other.

Decorex 2023 is proud to present Le Boudoir D’Corexxx - an exclusive VIP experience.

The daring hideaway, designed by one of the UK’s most talented interior designers, Brian Woulfe, effortlessly marries sophistication with a provocative allure, creating an ambiance that tantalises the senses and ignites the imagination. Embracing the challenge to seamlessly meld provocation and sophistication, Designed by Woulfe has created the concept for Le Boudoir, in which VIPs can transcend their comfort zones and embrace the realm of sensuality with grace and finesse.

The decadent and luxurious Lady Linbury’s Boudoir, recreated exclusively for Decorex’s VIP Lounge area, will capture a sense of playfulness and desire with sumptuous velvets, seductive silks and luxurious lace, intertwined with deep reds, lustful blacks and teasing animal prints.

‘Breaking into your discomfort zone’, plays on the elements of being a good designer and the need to be comfortable with having uncomfortable conversations with clients. The concept explores how a designer should fully grasp their clients wishes and needs, in order to design the perfect space.

A host of Decorex exhibitors, including luxury British interiors and lifestyle brand, House of Hackney, high-end wallcovering designers, Arte International and British lighting specialists, J Adams & Co will be featured in Le Boudoir D’Corexxx. Some of these bespoke products will be auctioned for charity on the final day of the show, offering the unmissable opportunity to own a unique piece and ensuring their longevity.

In a final expression of allure, Lady Linbury’s Boudoir will also feature ‘The Red Spot’ bar, the perfect place for a quiet meeting, hidden away from the busy show floor.

Elemental Studio creates the vibrant Decorex Champagne Bar

A pivotal space at each show is the social hub of the Decorex Champagne Bar and this year is no exception. For 2023, Decorex has collaborated with Laurence Katz, founder and creative director of Elemental Studio, whose design will provide visitors with an enchanting oasis, a harmonious blend of art, nature, community and dazzling colours.

Meticulously designed to not only provide refreshments and an inspiring escape from the hustle and bustle of the show floor, Elemental Studio’s design offers the opportunity for visitors to discover innovative new suppliers and artists, showcasing a captivating collection of art pieces from a diverse array of talented artists and craftspeople.

Working closely with exceptional professionals in various artistic disciplines, including painters, glass specialists and wood artisans, Elemental Studio has curated an inspiring selection that represents a broad spectrum of art forms, offering an ambiance that is both unique and stimulating.

With a warm sense of community and interaction, the design proudly integrates nature and biophilic principles, with a range of carefully selected trees and floristry. In an interesting contrast, vibrant hues and thoughtful colour combinations have been strategically incorporated to further create an exciting and enticing atmosphere.

“Our design vision is the creation of an inspirational oasis for this year’s Decorex bar area. In addition to promoting artistic connections, with elements of nature and colour, we have focused on fostering a sense of community and interaction by incorporating communal tables. We believe that trade shows are not only about meeting with friends and colleagues, but also about establishing new connections.”
